Darshan program was organized by the Gujarat Chand committee and Kutch district
Sunni Chand committee with the help of Kutch Astronomy Club and District Lok
Vigyan Kendra first time in Kutch for General public
The program was performed by large
telescopes at the Hill of the Mota Pir Western side of the Bhuj City and Yitim Khan Ahle Sunnat where a large number of
people were gathered to observe the Moon.
The black cloud in the west turned out
to be a little overwhelming, and as the crescent Moon viewed gathered crowd welcome it with Cheerful shouting.
People find the moon easily within the
clouds as they were told the location of the Moon in the sky by the Astronomer
who had planned this event with the help of astronomical software.
At the Mota Pir Dargah , Jamil Shah
Bawa, Mohammed Danis Attari, Azaz Attari,
Mujavar Amin Mughal and Aslam Attari gave
Gawahi of the Moon, which was verified
by Mufti Sabbir Ahmed President Gujarat Chand Committee through video call, and
on this basis, based on this testimony, Eid was announced by Gujarat Chand
Committee.

The first attempt to show Moon by the
telescopes for the public in the Kachchh district President of The Kutch
Astronomy Club Narendra Gor, Pravin
Maheshwari and Nishant Gor were honored
by shawl by Maqbool Bhai Sama a member of Gujarat Chand committee, Responding
to the honor, Shri Gor considered religion and science as a complement to each other.
He also told the people how the effects of the Earth's atmosphere and the
astronomical phenomena affect our social, religious customs with few examples.
Maqbool Bhai Sama, Salim Shekh, Ahmed
Shah Al Hussaini, Raza Hussein Bawa and Maulana Kaushar conducted the arrangements
at both the places. Nishant Gor, Dayaram Janarsari and Abdul Karim handled the
telescope.
ગુજરાત ચાંદ કમિટી અને કચ્છ જીલ્લા સુન્ની ચાંદ કમિટી દ્વારા કચ્છ એસ્ટ્રોનોમી ક્લબ અને જીલ્લા લોક વિજ્ઞાન કેન્દ્ર ના સહયોગથી ટેલીસ્કોપ દ્વારા ચંદ્ર દર્શનનો કાર્યક્રમ મોટા પીરા ખાતે અને યતીમ ખાના એહલે સુન્નત ખાતે યોજવામાં આવ્યો હતો જેમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો ચાંદનાં દીદાર કરવા ઉમટયા હતા.
પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં કાળા વાદળો થોડી વાર માટે હટતાં ચંદ્રની જીણી કોરની ઝલક દેખાતાં લોકોમાં ઉત્સાહ ફરી વળ્યો હતો.
ટેલીસ્કોપ અને સોફ્ટવેરની મદદથી આકાશમાં ચંદ્રનું સ્થાન પહેલેથી ધ્યાનમાં હોતાં ચાંદને શોધવામાં ઝાઝી વાર લાગી ન હતી.
મોટા પીર ખાતે જમિલશાહ બાવા, મોહમદ દનીસ અત્તારી, એઝાજ અત્તારી, મોટાપીરના મુજાવર અમીન મુગલ અને અસલમ અત્તારી એ ચાંદની ગવાહી આપી હતી જેની ખરાઈ ગુજરાત ચાંદ કમિટીના પ્રમુખ મુફ્તી સબ્બીર અહેમદે વિડીયો કોલથી કરી હતી અને આ ગવાહીના આધારે ગુજરાતમાં ઈદની જાહેરાત ગુજરાત ચાંદ કમિટી દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી હતી.
જમિલશાહ બાવાએ ચાંદની શુભેચ્છા પાઠવતાં ઉપસ્થિત સમુદાય સમક્ષ કચ્છમાં ભાઈચારો અને એખાલાસ કાયમ રહે તેમજ આવનારો સમય આપણા દેશ માટે અમન-ચેન થી વીતે તેવી દુઆ ગુજારી હતી.
કચ્છ જીલ્લામાં જાહેર જનતા માટે ટેલીસ્કોપ દ્વારા ચાંદ બતાવવાનો પ્રથમ પ્રયાસ હોઈ ગુજરાત ચાંદ કમિટીના કચ્છના સભ્ય મકબૂલ ભાઈ સમા દ્વારા નરેન્દ્રભાઈ ગોર, પ્રવીણ મહેશ્વરી અને નિશાંત ગોરનું શાલ ઓઢાડી સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. સન્માનનો પ્રત્યુત્તર આપતાં શ્રી ગોરે ધર્મ અને વિજ્ઞાનને એક બીજાના પુરક ગણાવ્યા હતા. પૃથ્વીના વાતાવરણ અને ખગોળીય ઘટનાની અસર આપણા સામાજિક, ધાર્મિક, રીત રીવાજો ઉપર કેવી રીતે પડી તેની ઉદાહરણ સાથે સમજણ આપી હતી.
મોટાપીર ખાતે ગુજરાત ચાંદ કમિટીના મકબુલ સમા અને સલીમભાઈ શેખે જ્યારે યતીમખાના ખાતે કચ્છ ચાંદ કમિટીના અહમદશાહ અલ હુસૈની, રજા હુસેન બાવા અને મૌલાના કૌસરએ સંચાલન કર્યું હતું, નિશાંત ગોર, દયારામ જણસારી અને અબ્દુલ કરીમે ટેલિસ્કોપની વ્યવસ્થા સંભાળી હતી.
